1. Purpose
These General Terms of Use (Terms) govern the access and use of the GoSportNow mobile application and the gosportnow.fr website. By using the application or creating an account, the user fully accepts these conditions.
GoSportNow is a mobile application and a matchmaking service allowing users to propose or join spontaneous or planned sports activities nearby. The service is currently in Beta MVP version and may evolve at any time.
2. Access and registration
Registration on GoSportNow is reserved for persons aged 18 or older. Minors are not allowed to create an account or participate in activities via the application. Authentication is possible via email, Google, Apple, and soon Strava. The user agrees to provide accurate information when creating their account.
3. How the service works
- Propose or join sports activities around you
- Exchange via an ephemeral group chat for the duration of the activity
- Manage your sports and notification preferences
- Delete your account at any time (results in the permanent loss of all associated data)
4. Absence of financial transactions
The use of GoSportNow is free during the launch phase. No transaction, subscription, or payment is currently required. The GoSportNow team reserves the right to later introduce premium features, a subscription system, or advertising.
5. Personal data and privacy
GoSportNow collects and processes only the data necessary for the operation of the service. Data is managed in accordance with the GDPR (EU 2016/679). Users can exercise their rights at contact@gosportnow.fr. See our privacy policy for more details.
6. Liability and insurance
Each user must imperatively have a personal civil liability insurance covering the practice of sports activities they propose or join via GoSportNow. GoSportNow acts solely as a technical intermediary connecting individuals and cannot be held responsible for accidents, incidents, or bodily or material damages occurring before, during, or after an activity, for the behavior of users, nor for activities organized in third-party clubs, associations, or establishments.
7. Behavior and moderation
Users agree to adopt respectful behavior and not to publish insulting, defamatory, racist, sexist, violent, or illegal content. GoSportNow reserves the right to suspend, limit, or delete any account in the event of non-compliance with these Terms, after prior notification. Reports can be made from the application via the reporting function or the alert button.
8. Notifications
The GoSportNow application sends notifications related to its operation (invitations, reminders, messages, alerts). Users can configure their notification preferences from their profile.
9. Service evolution
GoSportNow reserves the right to evolve or modify the service at any time. These Terms may be modified accordingly, and users will be informed via the application or the website.
10. Termination
The user may unsubscribe and permanently delete their account at any time. GoSportNow may, on its side, terminate an account in the event of a violation of the Terms, dangerous behavior, or a legal obligation.
11. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, exclusive jurisdiction is attributed to French courts. In the event of an interpretation discrepancy between translated versions, only the French version shall prevail.
